Mafi Runs Up The Flag in Salzburg

Recently, natural wood floor manufacturer Mafi celebrated the opening of its first flagship store. Managing director Fritz Fillafer and his daughters Heidrun and Christiane Fillafer invited numerous guests to the opening ceremony in the Imbergstrasse 9, offering an extravagant ambience and a fantastic view on Salzburg�s Old Town and the river Salzach.

V.I.P.�s like Salzburg based artist Michael Scheirl, Karl Merkatz, Elfi Eschke and Reinhard Schwabenitzky were among the prominence from culture, politics and economy which appeared at the opening.

First Shop for designer�s natural wood planks
"For a long time it has been our goal to present Mafi floors to a broad public. Now finally the time has come and we are convinced to have found an ideal location in Mozart�s hometown Salzburg� says marketing chief Christiane Fillafer about this important further step in the history of this family-owned enterprise.

Geographical advantages of the new location are the proximity to the Mafi Design Centre and to Munich, as well as to the markets in Italy and Switzerland. On a surface of approx. 240 m�, the new business premises offer private customers and business partners the chance to get - along with close personal advice - a comprehensive picture of the whole wide spectrum of Mafi products. For the first time world-wide, the store will feature "Mafi Fresco� on its stage, an innovative 3-D massage floor.

In the future also business meetings are to take place there under the title "mac - mafi architect cooking�. One of the first "macs� is already reserved for ten top architects from Mexico-City.

from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and from 2 to 6 p.m.
